Earthmover Credit Union Breaks Ground at New Batavia Branch
Earthmover Credit Union (ECU) recently broke ground on its newest branch, which will be located in Batavia, signaling ECU’s expanding geographic footprint. The new branch is expected to open in August 2025.
“Batavia consistently stood out as a top choice, thanks to its robust economy and strategic opportunities for new partnerships, member engagement and future expansion,” Executive Vice President Janel Cabadas said.
Many ECU employees attended the groundbreaking, taking turns with shovels to officially split ground at the new location, which will be built at 1992 McKee St. in Batavia. A large billboard displayed what the finished branch will look like. The Redmond Company, a Wisconsin-based integrated design and construction company that specializes in financial institutions, is bringing this vision to life. The new branch is expected to be completed by July 2025 and open to members that August.
“When we discovered this location in Batavia, we immediately recognized it as the perfect fit for our needs,” said Cabadas. “For several years, we have been searching for an ideal permanent site to better serve our members in this region, while supporting our growth objectives.”
ECU is looking forward to joining the Batavia community.
“I’m excited to serve the community and build lasting relationships,” Senior Branch Manager Amber Lockman said.
