Earthmover Credit Union (ECU) ranked #45 in S&P Global Market Intelligence’s Top 100 Credit Unions for 2024 in the United States.

Noreen Wilkerson was recently promoted to Executive Vice President of Finance at Earthmover Credit Union (ECU). Noreen’s significant contributions over the past 37 years are greatly appreciated, as she has played a pivotal role in ensuring the financial strength and future success of the credit union. As Executive Vice President of Finance, Noreen will play a larger part in executing ECU’s strategic plan.

Kelly McDonough, President/CEO of Earthmover Credit Union, was recently inducted into the Credit Union House Hall of Fame, in recognition of her significant contributions to the credit union movement. Kelly’s monumental career demonstrates her perceptive leadership, prudent business acumen and charitable service. This designation honors Kelly and her numerous professional achievements.

Earthmover Credit Union is excited to announce that its Pace Checking Account was officially certified by the national Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund (CFE Fund) as meeting the Bank On National Accounts Standards (2025–2026). The national safe account standards, co-created by consumer advocates, leading national non-profit organizations, civic leaders and other financial institutions, designate both core and strongly recommended features that ensure low cost, high functionality and consumer safety.

Earthmover Credit Union recently broke ground on its newest branch, which will be located in Batavia, signaling ECU’s expanding geographic footprint. The new branch is expected to open in August 2025.

Janel Cabadas was recently promoted to Executive Vice President of Earthmover Credit Union (ECU), where she will take on a larger leadership role. With over 20 years of experience at the credit union and a proven track record of strong leadership, Janel has spent her career fostering meaningful partnerships within the community.

Earthmover Credit Union (ECU) is implementing a fresh appearance in its branches with an upcoming remodel, completing the final stage of its rebrand. The remodel will take a phased approach through four branches over the next two years, eventually resulting in a cohesive look between all locations.

Earthmover Credit Union (ECU) and Peoples Energy Credit Union are excited to announce their upcoming merger. Peoples Energy Credit Union members will join Earthmover Credit Union’s membership and operate under the Earthmover name.
