It's easy to sign up for free Direct Deposit. All you need is the following information:
- Your ECU Account Number
- ECU's Routing and Transit Number

If your employer offers Direct Deposit, you can have your paycheck (less taxes and other deductions) automatically transmitted to your ECU account. Signing up for Direct Deposit is an easy way to make sure your wages are deposited into your account on time. Plus, Direct Deposit saves you a trip to the credit union on those busy days.
The Direct Deposit program can also be used to set up Social Security and other benefit/pension check deductions. Although Direct Deposit of federal payments is strictly voluntary, it remains to be the best method of payment in terms of security and convenience.
How to Sign Up
- Visit your employer's Payroll Department for company-specific rules
- Have your ECU account number and our Routing and Transit Number with you so that your Payroll Department can process your request
- Provide your employer with our Direct Deposit Form
- Allow 1-2 pay periods for your Direct Deposit to be set up

Authorization agreements for ACH Direct Deposits
Your company is authorized to initiate credit and correcting entries to the account and financial institution specified.
The origination of ACH transactions to your account must comply with the provisions of U.S. law.
The authorization is to remain in full force and effect until your company has received written notification from you of its termination in such time and in such manner as to afford your company and financial institution a reasonable opportunity to act on it.
Your company may require you to complete additional forms to begin direct deposit.
